Chris Terzis &

CT Madness

Basically the story of CT MADNESS begins during the end of 1997 when Chris Terzis (band's front man and only member!) had his first contact with the well famous software for music composition, Cakewalk Express. Since then he started composing music based on the MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) technology.  His first song was called "Madness" and so he decided to use CT MADNESS (=Chris Terzis Madness) as his musical nickname.

During the period 1997-2001 C.T. was working on a Pentium I PC with CPU processor at 100MhZ using Cakewalk Express and the infamous soundcard SoundVision 32 Gold as "the bands orchestra". Since 2001 until today he has been composing (and continues to) on a Pentium IV computer at 1.7GhZ using Yamaha SoftSynthesizer S-YXG50 as the mean of the digital reproduction of instruments.

On December 2002 CT MADNESS joined the Internet based music company, MP3.com and he was featured there until December 2003 when the company closed down. During that year he published his first album "The fragrance of madness" under the label of Mp3.com. That album included 12 tracks and the CD was available only online at www.mp3.com/CT_MADNESS. Now this album is available again through Cafepress.com with 3 more tracks. Find it here.

Today  CT MADNESS is a member of  FUNENDER (joined December 2002) which is an online company promoting music artists all over the world.

He is also member of Midi-Contest.com, site for midi composition contests and Atom Sounds, an indie record label.
